I hope everyone enjoys their break. Students are to complete exam 2 in their multiple choice workbook, finish reading Pride and Prejudice, and complete the reading packet for the novel.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Today we finished reading The Importance of Being Earnest and began our discussion of the work as a whole. Students were asked to write a Q3 prompt for the play.

Essay

Students completed an essay today. We will continue reading The Importance of Being Earnest tomorrow.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Students received their mc scores and new packets for Pride and Prejudice. They can turn the mc in any time before the end of the day Friday and must read through chapter 42 and complete the new packet by Monday. We then began reading and discussing The Importance of Being Earnest.

Poetry

We continued with presentations on ballad and ode. Multiple choice tests are due tomorrow.

Multiple assignments

Students received several assignments that they are to work on at home. 1. Students received a multiple choice workbook and scantron sheet. Exam #1 is due on Friday 12/7. Students are NOT to write in the workbook. 2. Students received Pride and Prejudice and are to read through chapter 23 by Monday 12/10. Students must also complete a brief backround research assignment in their notes and a packet along with their reading. Today we began poetry presentations on sonnets. We will continue with presentations all week.
